The Gossip Girl season 3 premiere is sure to have people talking. The omniscient blogger gal that shares the lives of upper east siders welcomes us back to the show with a quick recap of season 2.
The show begins with Chuck in a bar picking up a chick, definitely not Blair.
Jenny is enjoying the fruits of royalty with Rufus, Dan, and Eric, in the Hampton’s. Lilly is absent from the scene. Apparently she is going to be away for a while.
In New York, Nate end his European adventure by making out with Bree Buckley-Buckley is his family’s rival family.
What about Serena? She is welcomed back home with a slew of paparazzi on her tail.
She was supposed to be having and educational trip. But, she’s been out parting with some unknown guy.
Chuck and Blair
Blair and Chuck are afraid of losing the newness of their relationship and started playing “games.” Chuck lures a beautiful girl, which Blair has picked out, into his apartment. Blair comes in and verbally rips the girl to shreds.
The Humphreys
After returning from the Hampton’s the family decides to stay at Lily’s place. Jenny and Eric try their best to keep Serena’s escapades a secret from dad. Dan confronts Serena with a picture of her partying with Cristiano Ronaldo. She shrugs off the evidence and goes to meet Blair for some pre-polo match shopping. Rufus is finally told about Serena. When she is confronted she tells Dan that the guy in the photos is Carter and he is stalking her.
Dan and Vanessa
Vanessa wants Dan to meet friend Scott Rufus and Lily’s unknown child, but he’s too busy lying about his new wealth and family. Her new friend tells her, she should go to the polo match and confront Dan. But, he only wants to get close to rufus.
Bree and Nate
Nate decides to use Bree to prove that the family does not own him, only to realize that he does find her attractive and fun.
POLO
Chuck eyes a worthy, buxom blonde subject for the game, but Blair doesn’t want to play the game anymore. Vanessa tries to confront Dan, only to have Dan dragged away by Blair. He serves restraining order papers on Carter Baizen with Blair. Serena asks what’s going on, and Carter asks her to tell them the truth. Meanwhile, Scott d plays the part of Rufus’ hardcore music fan, getting to know dad up close and in secret. Serena Leaves to throe out the first ball, but instead she rides off into the forest on a stolen horse, and Carter follows her. He confronts Serena about ditching him in Europe after she finally found her father and he didn’t want to see her. Distraught, she’s been purposefully emblazoning the tabloids ever since, doing anything to get his attention.
Meanwhile, after Nate introduces Bree to his grandfather in a blatant declaration of independence, Bree tells Nate that she was a family rebel once, but now she is trying to reconcile with the family. They agree to see each other in secret.
While Blair was busy serving papers to Carter, Chuck was off with Alexandra Richards, and a security guard informs Blair that Chuck and the blonde both left the polo match around the same time. Blair storms into Chuck’s looking for the hidden women, but does not find one. He just went home with a headache. They retire for a night of role-playing. He is the negligent waiter, she the demanding, unsatisfied customer
Serena and her pictures
Rufus buys the rights to all the photographs of Slutty Serena, except for the work of one photographer. Who Serena has personally, hired. Which is pretty much what Serena says when she calls her dad’s voicemail and says she’ll do whatever and whomever it takes until he pays attention and contacts her.
