One of the most original modern Cop Shows on Television, Lincoln Heights is a show that depicts more than the job of a police officer sprinkled with an episode here and there about his family life. Lincoln Heights is centered around Officer Eddie Sutton’s family and how the choices he makes as a policeman effects his family and the neighborhood they live in.
An American TV drama, set in the fictional southern California city of Mission Vista, Officer Sutton moves his family back to his old neighborhood, Lincoln Heights, to start a new life. Lincoln Heights, as it turns out is a dangerous neighborhood and they discover that moving back to an old familiar place is not as easy as it had seemed. While Officer Sutton struggles to cope with the every day drama of being a street cop in Los Angeles his children have social issue of their own to deal with as they try to fit in with the kids at their new school and neighborhood.
A family oriented drama the show premiered January 8, 2007, on the ABC Family Television Network and ran 13 episodes the first season. As a recurring theme the show uses popular songs and musical artists to help promote each new season. For the 4th upcoming season that premiers September 14, 2009, the producers have called upon the musical talent of Marie Digby and her song Avalanche to help promote the exciting 4th season.
