From time to time I think of old Survivor seasons and wonder “What are the winners doing now?” Do you ever think about Tina, Ethan,Yul or Todd? We watch these people religiously during the season then they disappear from our thoughts. Well, I could not let them just fall off the face of the earth, so here it is Survivor winners: where are they now?
Survivor: Borneo
Richard Hatch is undoubtedly the most notorious Survivor winner. Winning the 1st season and coming back for all stars was great, but he found himself in jail for failing to claim his winnings and pay taxes on them.
Survivor: Outback
Tina Wesson wrote a book after wining Survivor called Out Live, Out Laugh, Out Love. It is an inspirational story of life and love.
She still lives in Tennessee with her family.
Survivor: Africa
The country fell in love with Ethan Zohn in Africa. Ethan has a grassroots soccer charity that helps in Aids awareness. He and Jenna Morasca are currently in a relationship.
Survivor: Marquesas
Vecepia “Vee” Towery: since taking home the million dollar prize, she has married Leander Robinson with whom she has a child.
Survivor: Thailand
Brian Heidik reportedly has had some trouble since survivor. He supposedly shot a puppy with a bow and arrow and was subsequently arrested. He claimed he was drunk at the time and mistook the puppy for a coyote.
Survivor: Amazon
Jenna Morasca has had some success in the entertainment industry. She was a contestant on the All-Stars edition, and has posed for Playboy, appeared on Fear Factor and hosted a number of events and shows, including Survivor Live.
Survivor: Pearl Islands
Sandra Diaz-Twine went back to everyday life. She is married with two children and works as a bank teller in North Carolina.
Survivor: All-Stars
Amber Brkich chose to attach herself to co-star Rob Mariano, who took her to the final two. Rob and Amber are now married and competed on Amazing Race All-Stars. The couple reportedly has 2 homes in Florida and Vegas.
Survivor: Vanuatu
Chris Daugherty married his girlfriend Lori Groves in the victory lane at Daytona Speedway. He also received some bad publicity when it was revealed that he lied about suffering from depression in order to take sick leave from his Ohio Department of Transportation job and compete on Survivor.
Survivor: Palau
Tom Westman has reportedly retired from the fire department after winning. He is now working as a motivational speaker. He has made am appearance on the day time soap The Bold and the Beautiful and acted as a co-host on Survivor Live. Of even greater interest, Westman was listed as one of television’s sexiest men by TV Guide in 2005.
Survivor: Guatemala
Danni Boatwright is working as an sports broadcaster and married to Casey Wiegmann of Denver Broncos. The couple has one child.
Survivor: Exile Island (Panama)
Aras Baskauskas is the owner of 2 companies: YogawithAras.com and Tundra.com, a website that sells winter hats.
Survivor: Cook Islands
