True Blood: Season 2 Finale Promo

In case you’ve been living on another planet, you should know that HBO’s hit series True Blood is set to air the finale for it’s second season this upcoming Sunday night, September 13, 2009, at 9pm Eastern, 8pm Central. The show has done very well for the premium cable network, despite a slow start in the first season. Over 5 million viewers tuned in during a recent week, making it HBO’s most successful show since The Sopranos. A third season has already been confirmed by the network, scheduled for the summer of 2010. Well who the heck can wait until then? Not to let fans weary themselves in worrysome waiting, HBO has released a promo “trailer” for the finale. It is, without a doubt, very awesome. Set to the music of Depeche Mode’s “Corrupt,” this promo will only serve to heighten your anticipation for Sunday night’s big event. It was originally aired during the True Blood marathon on September 6th and was posted to YouTube on the following day by some poor soul who knew we couldn’t wait to watch it over and over again. You know you will … so just do it … it’s addictive.
