Since the TV talk show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” premiered in 2003, Ellen DeGeneres has given away 1,000s of products and prizes to her lucky fans. Here is a list of just a few: iTunes points, X-Box 360, iPod nano, Nintendo Wii, Wii Fit, Compact Discs (including artists like Taylor Swift and Josh Groban), The “Indiana Jones” movies, and loads of cash. These are prizes she has given away randomly on the show and in enter-to-win giveaways. There are also many shows that featured theme giveaways.

Ellen once had a show completely dedicated to Eco-friendly products. Here is what she gave away to all her fans in the studio: Nathan Flip straw water bottle, Rusk environmentally friendly blow dry and straightening iron, the Activeion Pro cleaning solution, and the Globe Vienna by Specialized; which is a bicycle specially designed for comfort, and featuring recycled rubber tires.

Ellen also had a Christmas contest called the “12 Days of Giveaways”.

The products she gave away for this promotion included: Sony digital book reader, gift cards to Staples and Macys, a year long subscription to Netflix, Canon digital camera, subscriptions to Xbox live, Sony Blu-ray disc player and movies, and a $20,000 Smart car courtesy of QVC.

She also celebrated her birthday by giving away a $200 Zappos.com gift card to everyone in the audience that day. She also held a contest that people could enter to win prizes in honor of her birthday. Those prizes included: iHome alarm clock, iPod dock, Flip video camera, Samsung Blu-ray player, and one lucky person won a Volkswagen Jetta TDI.

Recently, there has been the “Laugh.Dance” package giveaway. Ellen loves to dance on her show, as everyone knows, and she manufactures products with the “Laugh.Dance” logo on them that she promotes, and gives away. The products in this package included: a welcome mat, shot glasses, T-shirt and a travel mug.

Currently, Ellen is holding the “Beat the Heat” Watch and Win Challenge. All you need to do is watch “Ellen”, and then visit her website at www.ellen.warnerbros.com, and answer a few questions about the show you just watched. Prizes for this daily game include: Dr. Dre Headphones. Plus, everyone who enters will be placed into one random drawing to win a grand prize, which is an all expense paid trip for two to Hollywood.
