Do you Think you Have What it Takes to Win $1,000,000,000?
The hit game show, Deal or No Deal premiered on the TV network, NBC, in December of 2005. Since then, it has become an incredibly popular prime time game show that is watched in millions of American households as well as abroad. With the top prize being a whopping $1,000,000,000, many people are vying for the chance to be on stage alongside the show’s host, Howie Mandel, and play for that prize.
Deal or No Deal is a game of chance where the contestant is presented with 26 briefcases to choose from. Each briefcase is numbered and contains unpredictable amounts of money. These amounts range from one penny to the top prize of $1,000,000,000.
At the beginning of the game, the contestant is allowed to choose only one briefcase. The amount that is in the briefcase will not be revealed until the end of the game. Throughout the remainder of the game, the contestant continues to choose more briefcases. This time the amount of money that the briefcases hold will be revealed. During some moments in the game, the contestant will receive an offer from a mystery person identified as “The Banker.” The Banker then presents the contestant with a monetary offer to persuade him/her to quit the game. The host, Mandel, then asks the contestant, “Deal or no deal?” If the contestant accepts the deal, then they take home the amount of money which was offered by the Banker and forfeit the game. If the contestant says no, then the Banker’s deal is rejected and the game continues. The contestant will continue choosing briefcases until all of the briefcases have been chosen. At the end of the game, if there are no briefcases left, the contestant can either accept the Banker’s final offer or they may take home the prize that was in the briefcase that they choose at the beginning of the game.
If you believe that you have what it takes to outwit the Banker in hopes of taking home up to $1,000,000,000, then your chance of appearing on Deal or No Deal is quite simple. Furthermore, try to be creative in making your video for a better chance of being selected. Once your video is completed, do not forget to label it with your name, address, and telephone number.
